Made in UltraFractal 5 from a FlipLambdaJ formula. “FlipLambdaJ” is found in the Fractint folder under fotdv1.frm. I rendered this as a psd file so that I could add bevel and inner shadow layer effects in Photoshop CS.

This is inspired by Carl Sagan’s book, Broca’s Brain: Reflections on the Romance of Science, which is an old favorite of mine. In this book, Sagan discusses the philosophy of science and explores what the future may hold in store for us. You should be able to find the book at your local library. Our library is about the size of our kitchen and I found the book there.

Love it! The gradient is perfect for this piece. :)

  • Thanks, Deb! I often think that the gradient can make or break a piece, and I’m working to master my gradients.
