We didn’t get any new snow for Christmas, but we did get something rarer and better. I went outside on Christmas morning and the trees in Shaun’s neighborhood were covered by ice fog, which leaves beautiful ice crystals over everything, giving it the look of frozen lace. I took a zillion photos, but this one is my favorite, since it shows the lacy effect clearly.
Photo taken December 25, 2010 in Kalispell, Montana (USA) with a Kodak EasyShare Z712 IS camera.

I hope everyone looks at the larger view…WOW!!!!!!
excellent capture
Gorgeous!
absolutely gorgeous!
Thanks! I think this was worth freezing my fingers off. It’s down to 7 degrees outside now and is supposed to drop to 1 degree, so I think I’m going to be satisfied with what I have and stay inside by the heater.
