This home looks so much like a Christmas card, including icicles hanging down off the front porch, but it has the bright Thanksgiving decoration on front to give it an extra holiday touch. This is my favorite house in Shaun’s neighborhood. I have stopped there to take photos of it so many different times that the owners must think I’m casing it. For those who are looking, this house is now for sale, for around $149,000.

I’m loving these wonderful festive images, Kathleen. So different from Australia at Christmas! This is a gorgeous chocolate box house.
Thanks, Bev! I spent a couple of years in Australia when I was a kid and miss the Christmas season there. We lived right by the water in Manly and I could go skin diving from our backyard. The best part was all those boats sailing by for the Sydney – Melbourne race on Boxing Day.

Beautiful! Is this house in Boulder Colorado by any chance? It sure looks like it is! :)
Thank you, Helen! This house is in Kalispell, Montana, about 60 miles south of the Canadian border. I think both areas are a lot alike. I’ve seen several photos of the scenery around Boulder and I always think they were taken in Montana.

How beautiful. All it needs is a snowman out the front and reindeer on the roof. Maybe you should pop a copy of the photo in the letter box so the owners won’t get worried.:)
That’s a good idea. I may order a card for them. It’s a nice way to introduce myself.

Lovely shot!
Great perspective on this one!
Easy to see why it is a favourite subject!
Thank you, Trish! I love going to Kalispell to take pictures of those old homes. All we have around here are ugly tract homes and cheap apartment buildings.
