Another one of the sunset photos that Jimmy took from the roof of our apartment building. He climbed up the hard way, using a shaky old ladder. He does this all day long at work, as well as working on scaffolding, but it’s not so bad when I’m not there to see him doing it. I was holding the ladder and I got vertigo just stepping on the bottom step to give it some weight.
This amazing sky actually looked like this. I had never seen anything like this. We will get some fiery sunsets around here when there is smoke from a forest fire, but there were no fires in this area last summer. The photo is a bit fuzzy because Jimmy was having to balance himself to keep from falling off the roof and couldn’t take a tripod up there.
I’m entering this in the Simplicity challenge in the Fiery Hot Colors group.
