This is the old First Bible Presbyterian Church in Shaun’s neighborhood in Kalispell, Montana (USA). This entire neighborhood is part of the Kalispell Historic District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. These homes and churches all date back to the 1880’s and were built by the founding fathers (and mothers) of the city.
This scene makes me think of the Victorian style Christmas. The Carson Mansion, which is on the other side of the district, used to host a Christmas party for the orphans of Kalispell, with a wrapped gift for each child. The huge entryway was filled with an 18 foot tree, decorated with lit candles. That wasn’t the safest way to trim a tree, but it must have been a beautiful sight!
