I found this street sign catty corner from my niece’s home in Port Townsend, Washington. They must have been running out of names. Since I liked the somewhat Autumn colors of this little rain forest, I decided to frame the sign with my niece’s tree. I think it is mountain ash.

The Olympic Peninsula is one of the most lush and beautiful places in the United States, but they pay for that beauty with months of rain.
