“You can’t see the wind, but you can see the effects of the wind.”

This is a photo that I took last summer. It’s very simple, but I keep coming back to it again and again. I love the watch the effects of the wind. My husband and I can look out our window after the sun has risen and watch the first light flickering through the leaves of a tree. It creates a beautiful dance of light and shadow on our bedroom wall.

This was taken in a neighbor’s yard, in Columbia Falls, Montana with a Nikon CoolPix P80 camera.
