It’s that time of year and our peaceful summer evenings are interrupted with the sounds of early 4th of July celebrating. Somebody lit off a sparkler bomb last night and the explosion was so loud our windows shook. We spotted this sunset a couple nights ago and Jimmy and I ran out to take pictures. I stood on the back of his truck to take this one.
Taken outside our home in Columbia Falls, Montana, with a Kodak EasyShare Z712 IS camera. No postprocessing done except to adjust levels. The colors are, if anything, less vibrant than the actual sky.
