This is the bathing pond at a monkey temple in Southern India, taken during my second trip to visit my fiancee, who is now my wife. My father-in-law told me that I didn’t have to worry about going into the water because there were no dangerous snakes in this area. Nobody told the snakes that, because we spotted a poisonous one, fortunately not too close to us. I joke to my wife that her dad was trying to kill me.
