This was taken in March, from the car, as Jimmy was driving through St. Louis. Bob Moore told me the following:
“That’s the Old Federal Courthouse. The “Dred Scott” case was tried here in the 1850’s. It is part of the Jefferson Expansion National Monument, which includes the Arch.”
I love the old architecture, surrounded by modern skyscrapers. If you look on the right side of the building, you can see that the workmen are doing some kind of refurbishing.
