This is something that Shaun did for fun. I wasn’t planning to upload it, but it was perfect for the Signs, billboards, roadsigns, directions, storefront signs, etc. challenge in the Cee’s Fun Artsy Friends group. I’ll probably take it down after the challenge.

Shaun made this as an editorial statement. He writes, “I live very close to Glacier National Park, and I am dedicating this piece to all the retarded tourists we get here, who feel the need to endanger themselves, their children, and others by trying to either feed or pet the wildlife. Bears are wild animals and they WILL ATTACK YOU if you invade their space! This unfortunately results in the bear being killed, all because of the stupididy of someone who wants to get a good experience or photo opportunity.”
Bears are best, photographed with a telephoto lens. We once saw a sow black bear, with a very young cub, walking away from The Loop, a viewpoint on Going-to-the-Sun Highway in Glacier National Park. The bears were followed by a crowd of people with cameras. Some were throwing rocks at the bears, in an attempt to get them to turn around. These people had children with them! When we reported what happened at the Rangers Station, they told us that people do that all the time. The rangers are constantly being dispatched to run the tourists away. There is a good reason why the Park Service posts signs, telling people to avoid areas where bears have been spotted.
