10/24/10 – Featured in the GREAT PLAINS OF NORTH AMERICA Group.

This was taken last Spring, at the Goatlick in Glacier National Park, Montana (USA). The path is very steep and looks like it’s used more by the mountain goats that frequent the salt lick that lies above the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. This path follows the west bank of the river, but there is a steep grade leading to it.
