Taken in September, 2010, when Shaun, Ann and I took the opportunity to visit the Glacier National Park, Montana (USA) in the offseason.
We don’t get the number of Autumn colors, here in Montana, as the eastern states, but we still have our Fall glory. This was such a peaceful scene. Autumn, in Glacier Park, is a quiet place, with only a few offseason visitors. The sun’s beams, filtering through the trees, made it seem like it was created just for the three of us.
The background is limestone, which is so bright it looked like a fresh snow dusting the rock. The waterline is so low this time of year that we are looking at the creekbed. What is left of the creek is in the lower lefthand portion of the picture.
Photo taken with a Nikon P80.
This makes a nice set, with “Glacier Autumn 2”.
