Made in Ultra Fractal 5. As beautiful as a White Christmas can be, the magic starts to wear off as the months drag on and on. Winter, here in Montana, doesn’t end until the snow finally has melted off at the beginning of June. That gives us about 2 weeks of Spring before the summer heat hits.

    beautiful work, love the colours!

  • Thank-you! After making so many Winter themed fractals, I wanted something different that would still look cold.

would please me that winter would not stay for an eternity (smile) .. although this planet was a frozen iceball twice in it’s history … twas the heart of earth’s heart that defrosted it …. may we never see the beginning of another ice age where winter comes and never leaves …

very organic .. as if winter were a being .. well done (big smile)

  • I agree with you. Although my Apache ancestors lived through the last Ice Age, I’m not as hearty. I prefer the comfort zone of our heating system and stay indoors as much as possible until Spring.

I love the delicate poetry of this design and the gorgeous colours. I’m starting to feel too the endless winter, as there are a fee months to go yet….

  • Thank-you! I know that whatever we get for weather is worse for you, since ours drifts down here from Canada, but warms slightly on the trip. The lovely, warm weather we had last week was replaced, this week, by a snow storm that dumped about 20 inches. So now we’re back to plows and snow shovels. Ugh!
