The Crane Breath technique is a method of energizing the mind and body, and is a preliminary technique to the Micro-Cosmic Circulation, and Cobra Breath Techniques.
Sit with the spine straight and the tip of the tongue gently touching the roof of the mouth. Take a few deep breaths. Initiate conscious abdominal breathing.
During inhalation, visualize energy entering the body at the tip of the tongue, flowing down the tongue and throat, down the centerline of the body (just beneath the skin), and then pooling in circular rotation in the abdominal region of the body, centered two inches below the navel (“lower dan’tien”).
With each additional breath, visualize more energy accumulating in the center.
