Original artwork by Robyn Scafone (from Chalk Meditation #14), December 2007, composite by Christopher Scafone 2014.
I dedicate this piece to the artist that dwells within every individual, just waiting to be expressed. I picked this piece, as it was never finished. But one can always ask, is any creation ever really finished? Rather than seeking a “finish-line”, we find in creation, a journey that opens us to spirit, if we are open to discovering it.
This piece was never completed. Different elements were rendered over time, some retained, others erased. The resulting montage allows a glimpse into this particular adventure.
Robyn began working with chalk in 2004. The pieces are created spontaneously, without any planning or pre-conceived design.
While the interpretation of each piece is left to the viewer, the creations serve as inspirational reminders of the infinite potential that dwells within us all.
