Terry Fox was a Canadian runner who ,when after one of his legs was amputated due to Cancer,ran across Canada to raise money for Cancer Research. He died shortly afterward but remains a symbol of Bravery & Hope. Taken on front of Vancouver’s Football stadium.     We have one of those statues in Ottawa

  • I was just reading up about him on Wikipedia & saw that. I remember seeing a movie about him when i was a kid. He was (& still is) quite an inspiring individual. Btw, This wasn’t easy to photograph so I had to experiment w/different angles until i found one that got all the different statues of him which was a bit of a challenge(but nothing like running cross-country on one leg!)
