North Beach is the Italian-American section of S.F(Fact:N.Y Yankees Baseball Player Joe DiMaggio who was married to Marilyn Monroe) was born & raised here.
If you look to the right,you can make out the sign for “City Lights” the Famous Beatnik/Counter-Culture Bookstore own by Beat Poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti- & in the distance is another famous S.F Landmark,the Trans America Building (Ok,I’m starting to sound like a Tour Guide;-)

Robynlee….I love this shot. I have taken so many photos of this darn building. And I am sure there will be more. I have so many that I have never posted. But I am not sure what street this is. Was it a reflection?? There are little marks in the sky that lead me to think this, but it looks very cool. You may have done it for the effect. Fun shot though!!
I’m not sure of the name of this street;I’ll have to ask this photographer friend whom I met on here who knows the city backwards & forwards:In fact I told him he’s like a human navigational system(lol) About those specks;unfortunately they’re dirt;i needed to clean my scanner which I try to do now after noticing alot my pics had that problem. Anyway,I’m really glad you like this pic;It’s one of my personal favorites:-)
