Oia, Santorini, is known to be THE place to photograph and see beautiful sunsets in the Greek Isles. So it’s not surprising that every single tourist on the island gathers in the one spot with their cameras.

At first I didn’t notice them – was too busy photographing the sunset, and then I looked back and laughed. I had to turn my camera on to everyone!

The sunsets on Santorini are spectacular, but difficult to capture effectively on film/image sensor. People shots can be fascinating, on the other hand (like this one). You did well to turn around.

  • Thanks Matt – I was so surprised at what I saw when I turned around – until then I thought I was on my own with just a few people around me!! I had to laugh!!
