While travelling around the USA 2 years ago, I kept coming across the less lucky. The rescue services were on their way just as I was taking this image. I’ve popped it up into a Photojournalism competition.

    ouch, he isn’t looking in the best of shape :( So how often do you see something like in NZ?

  • Compared to the USA, very rarely, but we have a social welfare system here so, although there are homeless people, they are usually homeless by choice :)

    A sad, sad image, he’s one of far too many. We sit at our computers viewing images taken with expensive cameras, warm, snug & cosy – how easily we could fall and join this man.
