Where am I - and a Feature!
I’m sort of back online for a few weeks, but have no idea what will happen after that. My house starts being built next week so it’ll be 4.5 months before I have regular broadband access yet. (sigh!)
I’m trying out all sorts of things with my photography. My latest is the Freeman Patterson technique – which I have been experimenting with. This technique is where you put your camera on a longer exposure and move the camera as you take the image, which results in an abstract. It’s much harder than it looks to get a decent image.
This is one of the images and to my delight it was featured in the forests group.

Also – i’ve had a request from the New Zealand Ornithological Society to use some of my bird images in their website and journal. So I’m delighted with that too.
Cheers

Congrats on the feature and the use of your images in their site and journal! I couldn’t go 1 week without internet, let alone 4 months!!!!! LOL

Thanks Kimberly,
It’s been an eye opener without internet. Goes to show how much we rely on it :)

No regular internet? Poor you, but what treasures you’ll have in store for us. It might be interesting to record the progress of your building project too.
Congratulations on the feature, the technique is fascinating, I’ll have to try it.
