    Wonderful work Robyn xx

  • Thanks Anita. Enjoyed painting it after seeing a black & white photo of Elizabeth. Intriguing theme, had never heard of the Black Dahlia until I went onto the link.

The eye tells so much on an otherwise deadpan expression – I really love this!

  • Thanks so much retrocharm, funny cos I just uploaded a pic I called Retro Rose when your comment popped up.

I had never heard of her either until I read the link. Very emotional portrayal here. Very strange story!

  • Thanks so much!

The black dahlia story is indeed a modern mystery. There was a movie that came out not so long ago but it’s not particularly good (it’s based off of a book). I really like your portrayal of her.

  • Thankyou Lynnette

Wow, this is really something wonderful. Hr facial features are very striking! Love the roses in her hair as well! Excellent!

  • Thanks Tahnja, the roses just happened….I love roses (more than dahlias)
