Wonderful work Robyn xx
Thanks Anita. Enjoyed painting it after seeing a black & white photo of Elizabeth. Intriguing theme, had never heard of the Black Dahlia until I went onto the link.

Thanks Barbara. I think your T shirt designs are amazing.
The eye tells so much on an otherwise deadpan expression – I really love this!
Thanks so much retrocharm, funny cos I just uploaded a pic I called Retro Rose when your comment popped up.
lol – small world!!!
I think your portrayal is just perfect :)))) xx
I had never heard of her either until I read the link. Very emotional portrayal here. Very strange story!
Thanks so much!
The black dahlia story is indeed a modern mystery. There was a movie that came out not so long ago but it’s not particularly good (it’s based off of a book). I really like your portrayal of her.
Wow, this is really something wonderful. Hr facial features are very striking! Love the roses in her hair as well! Excellent!
Thanks Tahnja, the roses just happened….I love roses (more than dahlias)
…and again for your lovely comments, I love being part of Red Bubble, a place to soak up encouragement & inspiration, thanks!
