I am currently the art teacher at Concordia College, Toowoomba and have taught art in Toowoomba for the past 18 years.
I have been a keen artist since I was 9 years old, but it has only been in the last year that I have cut back on some of my teaching time so I can work on my art every day.
I have completed numerous commissions for paintings in previous years, and have exhibited in solo art exhibitions in Toowoomba.
I have work in the Stanthorpe Art Gallery and have put my work in various Art competitions around Queensland.
This year I sent an entry into the Archibald (unsuccessful!) and it was shown in the Real Refuses at the T.A.P. Gallery.
I work in Oils, Acrylics ,Watercolour and collage , sometimes using many textures and sometimes concentrating on colour only. My subject matter concerns family and issues that concern me and I work in both figurative and abstract forms.
