Death of a Sibling
This is a dedication to my brother who was a hard working man who was gunned down by a low life piece of shit from the street
Death of a Sibling belongs to the following groups:
All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical, Everyday Life, Latin America, Latin-Caribbean Art, Pencil Drawing (2 per 24 hrs), Religious Art & Photography, The Birds, The Eyes Have It, Vibrant and Vivid Color and WarHis hair just like mine
His face just like mine
His personality just like mine
His ambition just like mine
My hair is is always messy
My face shows signs of insomnia
My personality like an empty 55 gallon drum
My ambition removed from my soul
He laughed like me
He faught like me
He danced like me
He ate like me
I can’t remember laughing without hurting inside
Now I fight the loneliness within
The urge to dance stripped from my soul
Food barely once a day
He died in less then ten minutes
I died just after that
They don’t know who did it
My last breath will be me finding who did
A family of 9 turns to a family of 8
That loss of one is 1 loss too many
Yes I am wounded now
The blood of the warrior within still rushes inside my viens
He will live within my soul and guide me to his killer
The wrath of centuries of warriors will be heard for miles around
He deserved to live
HE DESERVED TO LIVE

Rob my friend , I am actually happy to see you writing about this tragedy of your brother. It is good therapy for you . Feel the pain , the loss and learn to let it go. Your family needs you very much. With your Dad ill you need to be strong for your Mom and other siblings. Time will lessen the hurt and anger for you . Allow your Creator to help you my friend.
Robxavier replied
Thank you Madeline for your kind words as well. This has had a difficulty rateing of 10 for me, I have always believed in the higher source as my guide, the Creator will resolve this matter faster then we know it. Thanks again

dear Rob, I feel for you so much. My sister died not long ago and I know just how much you feel the loss, but for his life to be taken like that ,and not from natural causes, is doubly tragic. I hope writing your poem helped a bit, it did that for me and I hope they catch the murderer. Keep your memories always in your heart. hugs XX Jacqi

A family of 9 turns to a family of 8
That loss of one is 1 loss too many
Yes I am wounded now
Very poignant verse.
My brother lost is his life in a car accident. There were 6 siblings in all.
My father would introduce us—lovely—.. as number 1, 2, 3, etc. I was #5. My brother was #3.
It hurts to this day when people ask me how many brother’s and sister’s I have and it hurts b/c we only 5.
There are no words that can comfort your loss.
Speak of him often, remember all his good/bad, remember his laugh, and his spirit will live on forever.
Peace friend.
