Away, far, far away...!

Posted 10 months ago

I will be a bit inactive for a little while now, about to head to Japan for 3 weeks of snowboarding heaven…Quite excited actually. This is my 3rd time travelling to Japan in the Winter – searching for that quality powder snow…well actually, one doesn’t have to search too hard as it dumps it pretty much every other day….Quite a weird thing, going from one extreme to the other…Victoria an…

New Toy

Posted 11 months ago

G’day there Bubblers…Just got myself a new camera today to add to my growing collection..The little Canon G10.. Well little in comparision to dslr’s but not so much when comparing to compacts.. I bought this for a specific reason as I’m about to head to Japan shortly for 3 weeks of snowboarding. In recent years, when riding o/s’s and sometimes at home, I ride with my Nikon D2/300, wide angle …

I’m glad to say that my lovely wife Lini is now a Red Bubble contributor..Well, actually, she was already semi-addicted, as I am before this, but has now started taking photographs of her own…She has inherited my Nikon D200 when I upgraded to the D300. Initially I planned to sell this camera but as she had shown interest, it made perfect sense for her to…

The Moment for Monkey Day

Posted about 1 year ago

Just thought I would share my surprise and gratitude that my shot, “Monkey Day Spa”, was chosen to be included in the “In the Moment” publication.
As soon as the theme of “in the moment” came up , I thought of this shot as it is very much an in the moment type of shot. The fact that it became ever so popular on Red Bubble, with now around three and a half thousand views helped this along som…
