Cool lightning capture Rob! The back lighting up of the cloud looks great with the golden glow nearby. Was this just recent?

  • Robert Mullner replied

needless to say this image is phenomenal. but it is phenomenal. the division of contrast left to
right yet the continuity of mood throughout. mind blowing shot and image.

Fabulous panorama, all kinds of climate in front of the same lens in one spot, what a beautiful place. It’s like the brain, I believe weather doesn’t consult much with the rest of the sky. Some atmospheric collaboration at times, but busily off doing a lot of different things at once. The only place I’ve really seen this drama myself is in Texas where you see so much sky covering so much endless land.

This is just such a beautifully composed and exposed piece Robert – I know just how hard it is to get a balance between city halo and lightning so I really take my hat off to you for this one. Truly serene image I think.
