G’day Bubblers…having just got back from the land of the long white cloud ~ that be New Zealand.. a few gig of photo’s to work on from this awesome place..
This shot looks out to Lake Tekapo with the distant snow capped peaks in the background..The lupins are special at this time of the year and quite a spectacle to photograph with their vibrant colors..mix that with awesome landscape scenes and you have a landscape photographers paradise. Holy cow Rob, that is one of the best shots I’ve ever seen. Truly awe inspiring, foreground, background, flowers, lake, mountains, sky, holy cow even the trees are perfect. I can only imagine how excited you must have been when this lot came together. Please tell me this is the best shot of the trip I don’t think I could take it if there’s too many of this caliber, man that’s almost enough to miss an exhibition for… lol.

Hey there Trav…the lupins are certainly special ( despite them being a weed..! )..The roads are lined with them and we did quite a bit of searching to find vista’s where you not only get lupins, but that fantastic NZ landscape as well..This being one of them, and some nice late afternoon light to boot.. I do love this scene but am still quite excited about a lot of shots I’m working on..quite a few pano’s as well..thanks heaps for your fine comments..I’ll BMail you as I’m keen to find out how your exhibition went…cheers mate..

Hey Craig..cheers for the comment…yeah, I’m sure Matty will have loads of fantastic shots as well..we were blessed with some crazy changeable weather with great light..of course the obligatory downpore of rain that didn’t stop for 24hrs – but tranformed the place into a hundred waterfalls..cheers mate. catch ya soon..
