Surging tide over the rock shelf at Bridgewater Bay..This one nearly bowled me over as I was set up with my tripod. I was suprised that it came out sharp, cos it was 1/2 second exposure. I think the shutter must have closed the split second before this two foot wall of water hit me…anyway, I got the shot..! Nice thunderstorm building on the horizon..as per below. thanks for looking..rgs, Rob.

    Great drama in this shot, lot of nerve too by the sound of it. Could of been expensive. 1/2 second exposure is perfect for putting that drama in the water.
