High on Happo
Nearing the summit of Happo’one, Hakuba, Japan. Taken earlier this year during the peak of Winter. You can see the ice being blown off the peaks by strong winds that would come and go. Taking my hands out of my gloves actually hurt as my thermometer was reading -30 with the wind chill. The view stretching out forever across the peaks of the Japanese Alps. I really got a sense of why mountaineers are so passionate about their climbing. It’s that “top of the world” feeling..again, thanks for having a look…cheers, Rob.
