Daisetsuzan Snow Scene

Daisetsuzan Snow Scene

The Dasetsuzan is one beautiful National Park in northern Hokaido, Japan. The most snow I’ve ever seen in my life! This was after a 70cm dump on 40cm the day before! The river here is thermal water of around 30-40 degrees but the snow doesn’t melt because the air temp is sooo cold..usually around -20 or less. Hard to get a shot without the steam coming off most times. There’s also lots of natural rock pool Onsen baths in this area..S simply awesome place I’d love to go back to in the Spring or Autumn with the maples everywhere..
