Bass Coast Rock Shelf

Bass Coast Rock Shelf

I love the simple elements in this shot. The soft honeycomb type rock gets erroded into so many interesting shapes along this section of coast. Always makes for interesting compositions…I was going to put the mono up as per below, but the color one has the edge for me as it hightlights all those great tones in the rock….thanks for having a look…

The colour image has more subtlety of tone,
The mono is more graphic and dramatic.
    I love them both…

Both photos are stunning, but I would have to pick the color over mono because the unusual colors suit the unusual rocks. Either way, both images are beautiful!

Just beautiful Robert! The coloured one for me – subtleties of tone in the sky and rocks that mono just can’t touch.

I love all the shades of blue, aquamarine, purple and brown colours and tones, and the abstract textures of the stones and ridges, it is extraordinarily beautiful.
