Morning Flow on Flinders
Sister shot to the one below…I do like this vertical version as the flow tends to lead the eye around the shot…well it does for me anyway.. Taken last week during a dawn visit to the coast near Flinders ~ Victoria.
We’ve been getting some good changeable weather lately which beats the hell out of sunny fine weather…imo….....cheers for recent comments…rgs, Rob….

I do love a great seascape in portrait mode and yes the whirling water in the foreground is more powerful and eye catching in this format as it moves around the rock and out into the ocean. The light just catching that rock is superb as it displays all the miniture pools of water and the sky is a magnificent backdrop.

Yeah I tend to think the water leads you into the shot better in the vertical also, but I am very partial to vertical seascapes.

Love the rather moody lighting with the sun golden behind the clouds. Both versions are beautiful, but on balance I think this one!
