Um…be obsessive compulsive and spend a ridiculous amount of time obsessively trying to perfect your art…ok, more practiacally…good Grad ND’s for landscape work…practice and perfect PS layering techniques….or hdr – although I’m slowly heading away from this a little..it has it’s place though..the shot above is not hdr….

wow Rob….this is literally unreal…that glow is like a bomb going off under the intense stormy clouds.
This photo seems to have a natural glow.
