So beautiful! So much green! Love the low flow of the fall, it is a different and equally beautiful feel to a fast cascade.

The low angle and massive foreground is a great new take on waterfall photography. It really opens up the scene against the more usual concentration of the falls. It works so well here due to the lush green moss on the varying placed and sized rocks with snippets of water still streaming through the scene. The falls then provide a nice backdrop instead of being the main part of the shot.

brilliant capture …...

Beautiful work as always Robert.
I have been wanting to photograph Nelson Falls ever since I saw them in another photo somewhere, and now after seeing this photo of yours. I got the impression that the only way to get to them was by an overnight hike. Am I right?
Robert Mullner replied
Neil…actually, Nelson is only a very short walk from the carpark…it is a beautiful waterfall…I got here late in the day, but managed to fire off a few before the light totally disappeared…thanks for the comment..cheers, Rob.

I agree with Stuart what a new and wonderful angle to shoot waterfalls! ♥
It adds to their power and beauty ….. making them seem taller, stronger, and in this case more mysterious. Well done :O)
