Hi All, glad to see everyone enjoying my stuff! It’s so encouraging. In answer to your question Stephen, they’re all hand painted in photoshop. No filters, just the painting tools. I sometimes use photos of various things to get some of the textures, but generally, it’s all done by hand.

Your series is really cool , wish I had the patience to learn how to use photoshop properly
Bridget a'Beckett
wow – amazing. Has she been dancing and partying for just a little too long?

Instant favourite again. And what you stated in the description is so true recently! There is way too much apathy and nonsense blocking the whole dimension of the issue. But, going into the drawing, it certainly looks alien, threatening yet intriguing because it’s dancing. One can only wonder which type of weird sounds could be motivating the creature.
shanghaiwu
brilliant work.

Amazing stuff, I love her arms and hands…..you can really see the movement

Your description calls to mind a subject written about in the Occult(particularly Dion Fortune’s writings) about the lower astral entities (sometimes called “alcohol demons” that attach themselves to dunken and stoned unsuspecting souls… Fascinating concept and treatment. I see echos of HR Giger in your work, but you definitely have your own vision… I always enjoy when an artist has a concept underneath the creations!
George Yesthal
Wow!!! very disturbing…SICK. I love it.
Garth Horsfield
I’m an electronic musician, and I’d love to create a track based on this image… I wonder if I could imagine dance music as alien and creepy as this. Fantastic work.
Nvision Ink
Creepy but very cool character! So many interesting details inside the character. Great works you have!
billyboy
Rob, I’m so glad one of your pictures was featured so I could finally discover your portfolio. That you actually hand paint these awesome works in Photoshop means that you are one of the most gifted madmen I have ever encountered. I’ve seen many examples of dark and fantasy art, but your style along with your obvious understanding of composition, framing, lighting, and most importantly the human form… and pure gore, makes yours stand out well from the crowd. Totally inspirational, everything in here is a masterpiece.
joshua jacobson
