A baby born on St David's Day.
Well today I became a dad for the second time! My daughter was born this morning, Arianwen, which is a Welsh name that means silver-white. It can also mean silver fair, and silver woman.
Also the name is from one of the daughters of Brychan, a 5th century Welsh king, who was said to have saintly children.
Wow, I’m so impressed with her, it was such a surprise, we didn’t know what we were having but for some reason I was convinced it was a boy. She has been very alert and looking around, it’s great. She also has an older brother (18 months) to look after her and to entertain.
Mum did amazingly well throughout the pregnancy and especially the birth. Here are some (ha ha, not very arty) pics.

P.S. Thanks to the staff at the Countess of Chester Hospital, especially Louise who was our midwife, she was fantastic…
Updated with a pic.
