I’m a photographer and web designer living in rural NSW Australia. I also work as a farmer on our 40 acre property with my wife Linda. We breed Australian Babydoll Southdown sheep. I really like being out in the bush on the farm.
I have been involved in photography since 1977 (my first camera was a Kodak 77X Instamatic) and I got my first SLR and learned how to process B&W and colour in a darkroom in 1981.
Being involved in marketing and special projects my photography subjects range from rural scenes to sport (especially motor sport) to people and whatever needs photographing for the websites I look after. I enjoy most sport and closely follow motor sport and rugby union.
My actual trade background is an Automotive Electrician ,but have studied and gained diploma’s in Information Technology and Professional Photography.I also do website development and design, documentation and marketing projects.
My current kit is:
Bodies:Nikon D700 , Nikon D300, Nikon P6000 (point & shoot)
Lenses: Nikon 14-24mm F2.8, Nikon 24-70mm F2.8, Nikon 70-200mm F2.8, Nikon 500mm F4, Nikon 50mm F1.8, Nikon 18-200mm
Flash: Nikon SB900, Nikon SB800, Nikon SB600
I also have plenty of other gear, tripods, mono pods, filters etc and use capture one, Nikon Capture NX2 and Photoshop software packages for my digital photography.
