as we live our lives?
We are music.
It’s only energy in time.
It’s only vibrations of air, striking our ears.
It’s only pulses and beats, like our lives.
I know this truth because there is music that wants to take my life away.
There is music that wills me to die in its beauty.
There is music that wraps its chords around me and takes my breath away.
And I know this truth because I know that when my life ends
and my harmonies have ceased,
the music will vibrate still.
We are music.
