Hold Me
I’m not a “huggy” person, in person…cyberhugs are easier for me. No one in my family was “huggy”.... I could use a hug today.
Trying new technique: painting along with photomanipulation; Photoshop Elements 3.

WOW, this is phenomenal Robin. What a great technique … an instant favorite! Is this all in the computer or have you painted and then put it in to manipulate? My jaw dropped. Can even see a silhouette of a person in there … LOVE THIS!!
robpixaday replied
Emily, THANK YOU!!!!
I took a picture of an antique paper fan, but it was a little too blurry in spots and the colors were kind of blah. So I changed all of the colors and then painted over some over the areas, moved the paint and the photo parts around, painted a little more and added light.
I’m thrilled that you like it…and thank you sooooo much for the favorite!!

It is lovely. I should think it rather surrealistic – ‘Characterized by fantastic imagery and incongruous juxtapositions’ :)

Dorothy!!!! It’s great to see you! I hope you’re well and creating lots of gorgeous fractals!!
thank you sooooooo much…that definition clears things up for me…I’ll submit it to the Surrealism Group. Maybe they’ll like it.
Thank you again…and thank you for adding this to your favorites!!!
