I have to agree with you about the snakeskin appearance, Robin, and I think it also has a jewl-like finish and colours. Superbly done.

    Love it!!!!

Can elements take 3rd party filters??? I assume this was made with an inbuilt one…. very nice too. Reminds me of some of the old ULead filters…

  • robpixaday replied

Thank you!!!!! I used a couple of the flaming pear free plugins in this. I managed to add the little package to Elements 3, but haven’t been able to make any others attach to it ever since then. I’m not doing well with plugins and added filters. They never seem to “stick”—except flaming pear.

Oh!! I forgot this: thank you for making this a favorite!!!!

That is superb news…. UI use this one one all the time (I rarely use filters of any kind but Vibrant Patterns is cool)

I basically have 3 installed: Creatrive pack, Flexify , and liquify. I rarely use liquify and even then when I do it´s almost never in the way others here might expect. I find people just applythe filter and leave it at that – totally riuns some fine images… Therefore nowadays if I see any iimage that obviouslñy uses flood I totally ignore it!

I have the entire Flaming Pear Collection – or rather entire up to around 4 ot 5 years ago… I used to use them all but find nowadays it´s much better creating tyour own effects… you have way more control.

Flaming pear weere always my favourite set, then Alien Skin and ultimately corel… I bought 4 sets of KPT (Now Corel) and to this day the only one I have ever used with any enthusiasm is Fraxplorer in KPT 5

One of the sets also has a random flame generator like oxidizer in it…
