Photographers Robin
This Robin stalked me for about an hour the other day, wouldn’t let me take my shots without flying onto my tripod, my feet, pecked at my shoes and eventually landed on my lens….so eventually I took it’s pic and that seemed to keep it happy!
Taken at Rogie Falls, no post processing.

Aww it wanted to be a photographer! What a talented cutie! He wanted to see what you saw through the lens. What a smartie! Great capture, so original. Love it!
Rob Outram replied
Thanks Waleskal, I was just about to put the camera on the tripod when it hopped up and posed for me.
kdesignz
aww what a cheeky little Robin. Great Capture I really like your close up to :-)
Rob Outram replied
thanks k…think it was hungry and I didn’t have any food, but it followed me around for about an hour doing this!
jacqi
Delightful robin shot, they always like a vantage point to look for food or maybe he just wanted to join in!
Rob Outram replied
Thanks jacqi, certainly hungry but also a little curious I think.

This is too cute. I’ve never seen one bee so attentive to humans…how neat. I’m glad you captured a shot of it. Here we say that the first sign of a Red Breasted Robin is the first sign of Spring. I wonder if this little one means that Spring is coming…lol I sure hope so, I’m tired of winter now..lol (~as it snows outside~) Excellent capture!
Rob Outram replied
Well it’s certainly thawing around here…..but still too soon Ithink to say Spring is around the corner!
martinilogic
that’s a really cool shot. love the color and clarity of the bird
Rob Outram replied
Thanks martini (like the logic of that by the way) Me and birds don’t always work well together, but this one persisted with me until I got it right…lol!

CraftyThings
Great shot. Love the way the robin is all fluffed up.
Rob Outram replied
Thanks, it certainly was trying to be impressive.

What an amazing shot. You have beautiful delicate little robins in the UK. Where I live they are big and fat. Maybe I will be lucky enough to catch one like this someday. Great work!
Rob Outram replied
Thanks for the comment, I just wish I had some food to give it, but probably would have been swamped by bigger birds if I’d done that!
Nanagahma
Very cute robin. This little one looks very well fed. Either that or it’s puffing up it’s feathers to look pretty for the photographer! Maybe it has a “crush” on you! :-) Just teasing. Very nice capture and cute story.
Rob Outram replied
Thanks nanagahma, it was cute and persistent…lol

Bonnie shot Rob, I rarely get close enough to get a decent wildlife shot myself. My mum told me this wee bird was named after me!!
Thanks for the info on Calton Hill too!!
Rob Outram replied
Thanks Robin, I’m pretty useless at wildlife stuff, but this Robin….(named after you? well you learn something every day!) made it hard to take a bad picture of it.
Fiona MacNab
Great shot. Sounds like he was really tame.
