Lucia – I used a nikon 12-24mm on a D70 body. That lens is so perfect for the nikon ‘crop factor’ problem…use it almost exclusively for band pics. :)

Very impressive. I have one small tip if you don’t mind, you can get rid of the reflection on the glasses by changing your camera angle relative to the lights, or by turning the models head just a touch. Basically you want the glasses to reflect the light somewhere other than into the camera’s family of angles. I could demonstrate on paper in a jiffy but it’s not so easy in text.

But despite all that, it’s a mighty portrait you’d have to be happy with :)

I could have gotten rid of the refelction with a circular polarizer too, but really like it. I’m into ‘flaws’ like lens flare, reflections, hot spots, and all sorts of stuff. Thanks for the suggestion though…I love reflections and shiny things. :)
