Lightning over Townsville
Hey Drek, How hard is it to get a good lightning strike on “film”?! They never strike where you point your camera, or rain gets on the lens, or wind blows and the tripod rocks…
I parked my taxi on a hill, opened the rear hatch, and sat in the boot for half an hour in the rain, trying to capture a decent bolt.
I’m dying for more lightning storms. Send ‘em our way!

classic. I’m glad I’ve got digital but will pull the old film slr out soon. as for rain on the lens(thursday/friday storms likely s.e qld) I’ll test out my new housing. your lucky you have a taxi, I chase storms on a pushy.
