I have two great passions in my life. The first is my family; wife, Helen and my two young sons, Thomas and William. My second is landscape photography.
Having dabbled with film for a while, I took the plunge and got my first DSLR in 2007 completing a City & Guilds photography course and avidly reading about the subject.
I love the great outdoors and there is nothing quite like sitting on a hill or beach when the sun pops above the horizon for the first time that day. For me, dawn is the best time of the day and when mother nature is feeling compliant it can be extremely rewarding.

I have just sold my first image on redbubble (Durdle Door), and can safely say it is a great feeling to know that somebody out there in bubble world likes an image of mine enough to want to hang it on their wall, a big thank you, Rob.
I subscribe to a national magazine here in the UK called PhotoPlus, it’s a mag that is dedicated to Canon users and every month they run a reader challenge. / Last month they ran the challenge under the theme of ‘coastal landscapes’. / I submitted a couple of my images, and just last week had an email from the editor to tell me I had won the competition with my image of Portland…
My shot of a covered bridge taken just outside Campton in New Hampshire, was featured in ‘Covered Bridges’ the image was also selected as shot of the week.
