Smoke and Steam
Captured this Steam train during an early winter’s morning. Carefully chose an uphill location, as this would maximize the volume of smoke and steam produced by the vintage locomotive.

Magnificent! Not only did the climb uphill produce some wonderful steam, she would have sounded wonderful too I am sure! and there is nothing quite like the smell of coal from a steam train : )

G’day Robjbez,
Your very thoughtful approach to making this photograph has paid off handsomely mate.
There is indeed a great volume of billowing smoke and a goodly burst of steam emanating from this very interesting iron horse.
Great point of view, depth offield, focus, colours and contrast.
Great work that man!
