Tamarack in December

Robin Clifton

New Hope, United States

Artist's Description

“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heavens…” Ecclesiastes 3:1

So it is with a Tamarack tree. Although it resembles other evergreens, it is actually a deciduous conifer, meaning that it sheds it’s needles every fall.

This foggy landscape was photographed on December 2, 2012 at Northwood Park in New Hope, MN.
