Council Buildings Haddington
Hello everyone. I’m working on my image library at the moment & found this image. Thought I’d share some background details before getting back to work.
I turned this shot into a painting a while back using PS. That image was then
used in a greetings card design which I sold to a local Gallery as part of a small range of local scenes. The Provost of East Lothian saw my card & bought a copy. Then the Provost got in touch & asked if it would be possible to buy the copyright for the official council Christmas card.
A simple managed copyright deal was agreed & my image was one of two official Council Christmas cards for Christmas 2007.
Making your own greetings cards is a good way to get noticed. Just thought I’d share that with everyone in case anyone wants to give it a go.
I have hundreds of image discs lying all around me at the moment, boy I wish I had a better filing system.

Beautiful image no wonder they snapped it up! Re the filing just went and bought an external hard drive and that took up all of my weekend. I guess everythings safe now and semi organised. The computer rage was well worth it. lol
