The Oldest Courthouse in Michigan

Robert Kelch, M.D.

South Haven, United States

Artist's Description

This courthouse is in Berrien Springs, Michigan. It is the oldest courthouse in the State of Michigan. The architect of this Greek Revival-style building was Gilbert B. Avery. Construction was completed in 1839. The courthouse has been renovated and is now a museum, but it is still used as a courthouse for legal ceremonies.

I took this photo with my Canon EOS 6D camera and a 24 -105 mm L lens at 24mm and with a circular polarizer.
