Upper Tahquamenon Falls by Robert Kelch, M.D.
Clear

My wife and I just returned from a week long trip to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This is a photo of the Upper Tahquamenon Falls taken with my Canon EOS 6D camera and a 24 -105 mm Canon L lens. Camera settings were; f16, ISO 100, and 0.4 seconds. These are the second highest falls east of the Mississippi River. The reddish color of the the water is due to the high tanin levels from the leaves that drop into the river.

Bob Kelch is a retired pediatrician and health care administrator who now has the time he wants to devote to his passion, photography. He lives near the Lake Michigan shore in South Haven, Michigan.
