Arctic Tern Landing on the Kenai River by

This Arctic Tern was caught as it was landing on the Kenai River in Alaska. I used my Canon EOS 6D camera with a Sigma 50-500 mm lens at 500 mm. This bird migrates from the north pole to the south pole and only mates about every three years.
